Looking for Fun Things to do in Utah Around Halloween?
Visit Wheeler Farm for the annual Scarecrow Masquerade. For $5, your child can select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and paint it, make a spider out of cupcakes and licorice, go on a wagon ride and build a scarecrow! (Bring some old clothes and a pillow case for the scarecrow). Adults get to make a craft rather than spider cupcakes with a $5 adult ticket. Visiting Wheeler Farm in Ocotober has become an annual tradition in our family.
It doesn't feel like Halloween until you visit the witches at Gardner Village! This is the most creative collection of witches we've found in Utah. A treat for the whole family, Gardner Village provides great shopping, outstanding food, and a pond for children to feed the fish and ducks. Another annual treat!
Halloween Bash at Gene Fullmer Recreation Center. This event caters to youngsters who arrive in their costumes ready to play games and win prizes. With a gummy worm eating contest and dance-a-thon, it's an even my children will want to attend year after year.
